Zish Ziembinski
Zish Ziembinski is registered as a Specialist Clinical Psychologist. His professional practice as a Psychotherapist and Psychotherapy Trainer extends over 30 years. He works in private practice at the Subiaco Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre. Zish's special interests include working with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, generational and family issues, separation, grief and loss, mid-life crisis and difficulties in adjusting to life changes. Zish works with individuals, couples and groups. He is very interested in the difficulties people experience in developing and maintaining mutually nourishing and satisfying relationships. He specializes in working with people who have difficulties in creating and sustaining closeness and clear boundaries in their relationships with others. Typically people seek his assistance because they feel miserable, lonely, misunderstood, dissatisfied with their lives, anxious, shy and shameful or personally lost or confused. Zish has been actively involved in promoting Psychotherapy as a profession in Australia for many years. He has completed training as a Gestalt Psychotherapist and is a Graduate of the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Perth. As well as conducting his private practice, Zish is active in training psychotherapists in Australia and Europe. He is currently a Co-Director of the Gestalt Training Institute West Australia (www.gestaltwa.com) and has been a Guest Faculty Trainer at Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles' (www.gatla.org) annual Residential Training Program in Europe, each year since 1995. Zish also offers ongoing professional supervision to practising psychotherapists and psychologists. As a registered Clinical Psychologist, clients attending him are able to claim Health Insurance Rebates, if they carry Private Health Insurance. If referred by a General Practitioner, clients can also claim Rebates from Medicare, under the Better Access to Psychological Treatment Program.
