Lyn has been a practising Counsellor, Family & Marital Therapist and Psychotherapist for 16 years. She has worked professionally for many years in hospitals and health care settings, both in Australia and Third World countries.

Lyn returned to Australia, from working in Papua New Guinea, in 1980. She then worked for the Western Australian Department of Health in the area of chronic and acute psychiatry and mental health education, until 1995. Since then, she has been in private practice as an individual psychotherapist and family and marital therapist.

Lyn is a certified Gestalt therapist, graduating from both the Gestalt Training Institute West Australia (GTIWA) and the Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles (GATLA). Lyn has also trained as a Family & Marital Therapist and much of her present work is in this area.

She is a member of the training faculty of GTIWA and a visiting faculty trainer for GATLA's annual European Summer Residential Program.

As well asconducting her private practice, Lyn also contracts to facilitate therapy groups for personal and relationship development.

Lyn has a strong belief in the therapeutic process and a genuine interest in people. She feels privileged and fortunate to do the work that she loves.
